Update on Philadelphia’s injured players ahead of Week 9.

The Philadelphia Eagles issued their first official injury report on Wednesday in advance of their Week 9 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Four players DID NOT PARTICIPATE: Jalen Reagor, Javon Hargrave, Fletcher Cox, and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside.

Reagor was carted off the field in the first quarter of the Eagles’ Week 8 win. Nick Sirianni said he was “hopeful” that Reagor could play on Sunday but this isn’t a good way to start the week. We’ll have to monitor his status over the next two days.

Hargrave has been dealing with a shoulder issue. He also missed practice last Wednesday and still played. While his availability might not be in question, his effectiveness might be. Hargrave’s first five games: 6 sacks, 9 QB hits, 1 FF. Hargrave’s last three games: 0 sacks, 2 QB hits, 0 FF.

Cox has regularly been getting rest early in the week. He’ll be fine to play.

JJAW left the game early in Week 8 and did not return. He’s been banged up all season. Might be best for the Eagles to rest him for a week.

Six players were LIMITED PARTICIPANTS: Lane Johnson, Jason Kelce, Jordan Mailata, Jack Driscoll, Shaun Bradley, and Zech McPhearson.

Johnson and Kelce have regularly been getting rest early in the week. They’re fine.

Mailata is newly dealing with an elbow injury. No word on if that’ll impact his availability. Between that and his knee issue, those ailments could help to explain why he’s had some struggles more recently.

Driscoll being limited after leaving early in Week 8 seems like a good sign. Might have a chance to start at right guard this week.

Bradley’s shoulder issue is new. Might still be able to play.

McPhearson returned to practice after missing all of last week with a hamstring issue. Might be able to play.

One player was listed as a FULL PARTICIPANT: Anthony Harris.

Harris is on track to return to the starting lineup after missing the Eagles’ last two games.

Tyree Jackson isn’t listed on the injury report since he’s still on injured reserve but he practiced.

Today is the fourteenth day in Jackson’s 21-day practice window. The Eagles have until next Wednesday to activate him to their 53-man roster (or else he’ll be on IR the rest of the season). So, it looks like Jackson will either debut this week or next.
