The Colts are a little banged up at offensive tackle and brought in a new name for a workout.

According to NFL Insider Aaron Wilson, the Indianapolis Colts worked out offensive tackle Greg Senat on Saturday:

Originally a 2018 6th round pick of the Baltimore Ravens, Senat has also spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs (2019), Cleveland Browns (2020), Dallas Cowboys (2020), and Browns again (2021).

The 6’6”, 305 pound offensive tackle (34 7/8” arms) has appeared in 10 games, all with the Cowboys back in 2020. He was a Super Bowl Champion with the Chiefs in 2019.

Here’s how Senat compares athletically to some of his NFL tackle peers:

The Colts are a little banged up at offensive tackle right now, as starting right bookend Braden Smith is still out with a foot/thumb injury. The Colts also already lost backup tackle Sam Tevi to a season-ending knee injury and subsequently placed him on injured reserve.

Senat could add additional positional depth as a backup—and at the very least, might be worth kicking the tires on for the team’s practice squad.
