Week 13 game status updates.

The Philadelphia Eagles issued their third and final official injury report on Friday in advance of their Week 13 game against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Eagles ruled two players QUESTIONABLE: Fletcher Cox and Grant Calcaterra.

Curious that Cox is listed as questionable instead of out after failing to practice at all this week. Perhaps he’s going to be able to tough it out? If he can’t suit up for this game, it looks like he could feasibly return in Week 14.

Calcaterra missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday before being upgraded to limited on Friday. He might be able to play and provide tight end depth.

The Eagles ruled one player DOUBTFUL: Dallas Goedert.

“Doubtful” is better than “out” … and it was encouraging to see Goedert at least be limited in practice for the first time since getting hurt in Week 9. But it’s looking like he might not be cleared to play. If Goedert doesn’t play against the 49ers, he could make his return against the Cowboys in Week 14.

The Eagles ruled two players OUT: Zach Cunningham and Justin Evans.

Cunningham will miss this game and perhaps more, according to one report. Not good that the Eagles are missing their top linebacker against the 49ers’ offense. The Birds are down to Nicholas Morrow, Christian Elliss, and Ben VanSumeren for the time being.

Evans is expected to go on season-ending injured reserve with the Eagles not likely to activate him to the roster during the 21-day practice window they opened. That’s unfortunate because getting him back would’ve provided more safety and special teams depth.

Lane Johnson, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, D’Andre Swift, Jordan Davis, Milton Williams, and Julio Jones are all listed without game statuses after previously appearing on the injury report this week. They’re all good to go.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES INJURY REPORT (FRIDAY)

OUT

LB Zach Cunningham (hamstring)
S Justin Evans (knee)

DOUBTFUL

TE Dallas Goedert (forearm)

QUESTIONABLE

TE Grant Calcaterra (ankle)
DT Fletcher Cox (groin)

RESERVE/INJURED

LB Shaun Bradley
LB Nakobe Dean
S Justin Evans (designated to return)
OT Roderick Johnson
CB Avonte Maddox
CB Zech McPhearson

Evans had his 21-day practice window to return from injured reserve opened on November 14 but it looks like he won’t be activated and instead will be shut down for the season. Dean is dealing with a foot injury and is eligible to return in Week 15 at the earliest. Nick Sirianni did not close the door on Maddox potentially returning this year. Bradley, Johnson, and McPhearson will miss the entire 2023 season since they were placed on IR ahead of roster cuts to the 53-player limit.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS INJURY REPORT (FRIDAY)

The 49ers are notably missing All-Pro safety Talanoa Hufanga, who was placed on injured reserve.

Starting defensive lineman Arik Armstead, top kick/punt returner Ray-Ray McLoud, and depth running back Jordan Mason are all questionable to play after being upgraded to limited on Friday. Armstead told reporters he plans on playing.

Nick Bosa was added to the injury report as a limited participant on Friday due to a toe issue. But he’s not listed with a game status, so he’ll play.

QUESTIONABLE

DE Arik Armstead (foot)
RB Jordan Mason (hamstring)
WR Ray-Ray McLoud (rib)

RESERVE/INJURED

WR Danny Gray
S Talanoa Hufanga
DL Drake Jackson
TE Cameron Latu
S George Odum
OL Nick Zakelj
