Who’s in and who’s out for Week 18.

The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their 2023 NFL Week 18 road game against the New York Giants.

The following Eagles players WILL NOT PLAY: DeVonta Smith, D’Andre Swift, Fletcher Cox, Darius Slay, Tyler Steen, and Tanner McKee.

Smith and Slay were ruled out on Friday’s injury report. This is DeVonta’s first missed game in his NFL career.

Swift was ruled questionable to play due to illness. It was reported earlier on Sunday that he would be inactive. Seems like the Eagles are being extra cautious with him.

Fletcher Cox wasn’t on the injury report so the Eagles are apparently resting him in a game that will be meaningless if the Dallas Cowboys beat the Washington Commanders (highly likely).

Under the NFL’s emergency third quarterback rule, McKee is only permitted to play if both Jalen Hurts AND Marcus Mariota leave the game due to injury.
