The drama continues for former Bucs wide receiver Antonio Brown after his unceremonious departure from the organization last year. According to Fox News’ Scott Smith, Brown is set to be arrested by Tampa Police after a domestic violence allegation.

Brown, who joined the Bucs midway through the 2020 season after serving an eight game suspension, quit on the team last year in a game against the New York Jets. After a disagreement with head coach Bruce Arians, the former All-Pro receiver stripped off his pads and jersey leaving the field shirtless. Brown claimed he was asked to play hurt which he declined to do, while Arians disputed it saying he was upset with his usage in the game. He has been out of the NFL since.

This isn’t Brown’s first dust-up with authorities. He was recently ordered to pay $1.2 million in damages to a moving truck driver he allegedly assaulted in 2020. Prior to that, Brown reached an undisclosed settlement with his former live-in chef who claimed he was owed $10,000 for his services. The chef leaked to media Brown’s attempted usage of a fake vaccination card in 2021 which saw him suspended three games for the violation

Before Brown joined the Bucs he was also involved in multiple other scandals and unprofessional behaviors. Including grievances about which helmet he could wear and a verbal confrontation with general manager Mike Mayock in his time with the Raiders that led to his dismissal from the team.

Joining the Patriots immediately following his release Brown, had three separate allegations of sexual assault levied against him. He would settle those cases but the NFL implemented an eight game suspension for the 2020 season for his conduct.

More recently Brown has focused on his rap career, aligning himself with Kanye West, who has recently come under fire for his anti-semitic remarks, and serving as the Vice President of Donda Sports.
