Zach Wilson sounds excited the Jets kept their 2021 QB room together.
He tweeted as much after the Jets officially re-signed Joe Flacco, even adding a little humor to his post.

The literal dad joke is funny, but Wilson also took a side in the Is Flacco elite? debate. The highly-disputed question traces back to the veteran’s time with the Ravens, especially after Flacco won Super Bowl MVP during the 2012 season.
Flacco re-joined the Jets in a midseason trade last year after originally signing with the Eagles during the 2021 offseason. He played in two games and started one while Wilson recovered from a knee injury he suffered earlier in the season. Flacco finished the year with a 64.29 completion percentage, 338 passing yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions.
Flacco will serve as a mentor for Wilson and fellow backup Mike White, whom the Jets retained after White signed his RFA tender.
