It seems oddsmakers and bettors have finally lost faith in the Jacksonville Jaguars.

After losing as “home” favorites in each of the last two weeks (one of those”home games was played in London), the Jaguars are a slight underdog for their Week 9 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders at TIAA Bank Field.

According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Jaguars are a 1.5-point underdog against the Raiders with the point total set at 47.5.

Las Vegas began the season with an 0-3 record before winning two out of their next three. In Week 9, the Raiders fell to 2-5 with a 24-0 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

The Jaguars enter Week 9 on a five-game losing streak that turned a promising 2-1 start to the year to a disappointing 2-6 record near the season’s halfway point.

The Raiders have visited Jacksonville just three times before, losing in 2007 and 2010 before finally winning a game in 2016. The Jaguars lead the overall series, 5-4.

In August, the Jaguars and Raiders met in the Hall of Fame Game.
