Jacksonville is one of six NFL teams whose rookies reported to training camp on Tuesday for the final leg of an offseason that is quickly drawing to a close. There’s a lot of anticipation around the Jaguars facility for the first training camp under coach Urban Meyer and with Trevor Lawrence in a teal and black uniform.

Lawrence is in the tail end of recovery from surgery in the spring for his non-throwing shoulder, and he was a bit limited during organized team activities last month. The hope is that he’s now much closer to 100% and will make a push to win the starting job during the preseason.

Lawrence reported on Tuesday, and he’s joined by his entire rookie class after the last unsigned picks — Travis Etienne, Walker Little and Tyson Campbell — all signed their rookie deals before camp, with Etienne’s signing being announced Monday night while the latter two signed on Tuesday morning.

Overall, the Jags have 15 rookies on their roster and nine were draft picks. Once the attendance figures are announced, we’ll be sure to provide an update, but there hasn’t been a reason not to believe that the Jags will have full attendance.

Over the next few days, the Jags’ coaching staff will have the opportunity to work closely with the young players before the rest of the team joins them at camp in a week on July 27.
