The Jets have made wide receiver Allen Lazard available for trade this offseason, according to a report by Dianna Russini and Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic.

Lazard was a major disappointment in his first season with the Jets after signing a four-year, $44 million deal with $22 million guaranteed last offseason. Lazard caught 23 passes for 311 yards and just one touchdown in 14 games. He was a healthy scratch twice during the season.

Overall, Lazard was fourth on the team in receiving yards behind Garrett Wilson (1,042), Tyler Conklin (621) and Breece Hall (591). Jason Brownlee eventually took over at times running as the No. 2 wide receiver next to Wilson.

Part of Lazard’s struggle may stem from the quarterback play, but it also certainly fell on his own accord.

As for what he could get in return, tang could depend on how much money the Jets are willing to eat. His $10 million salary for this season is already guaranteed. The Jets can save about $3.4 million in cap space by trading. They would save $10 million if they wait until after June 1 to trade him.
