All three spent time together at LSU

The Cincinnati Bengals struck gold when they drafted LSU Tigers star quarterback Joe Burrow in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. They added even more talent from LSU the following year, taking Ja’Marr Chase fifth overall.

That duo has led them to multiple AFC Championship games and even a Super Bowl. The future is bright for Chase and Burrow in the Queen City, and there’s good reason to believe they’ll be able to keep both around for the long-term future.

As for Jefferson, who could make the dynamic duo and the terrifying trio, he was asked if he’s at all jealous about the fact that his former teammates get to play together in the NFL. He didn’t hold back.

“I love them together, I love the chemistry that they have, but it’s definitely some jealousy on that side,” Jefferson told comedian and actor Kevin Hart on the LOL Network. “Just a little tad bid,” Jefferson said.

Hart also questioned Jefferson on the dynamic at LSU and his confidence with Burrow and Chase.

“Oh, for sure. Of course, me and Ja’Marr are always confident in ourselves to go out there and kill anyone that steps in front of us,” Jefferson said.

There have been rumors of the Bengals looking to trade for Jefferson this offseason, after inking Tee Higgins to the franchise tag. Sadly, those appear to be just rumors as it would take a goliath haul to get Jefferson from Minnesota.

Jefferson, who led the league with 1,809 receiving yards in 2022, has become one of the best receivers in the NFL, and as he said in the interview, he has aspirations to be the best to ever play the game.
