After spending the last six seasons as the quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings, Kirk Cousins is bringing his talents to Atlanta, agreeing to a four-year, $180 million contract with the Falcons on the opening day of free agency.

Cousins, 35, has passed for 171 touchdowns and 55 interceptions over the last six years in Minnesota, leading the team to a record of 50-37-1. The Falcons hope the veteran QB can get them back to the playoffs and end their six-year postseason drought.

The deal will become official at the start of the new league year on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. ET. Cousins posted a video to social media saying goodbye to his fans in Minnesota and confirming that he will sign with the Falcons.
