The Detroit Lions suffered two key injuries in the first quarter of their Week 4 game against the Chicago Bears that an already beat-up team cannot afford to lose. Edge defender Romeo Okwara suffered a foot injury, while Frank Ragnow is dealing with a toe injury. Both players went to the locker room shortly after their injury. UPDATE: Okwara is out for the remainder of the game, Ragnow is listed as questionable. UPDATE 2: Ragnow has been downgraded to OUT as well.

Okwara had been the Lions best defender through two games, providing consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks. With Trey Flowers already declared out prior to the game, the Lions will have to rely on a three-man rotation between Charles Harris, Julian Okwara and Austin Bryant.

As for Ragnow, he has been replaced by Evan Brown in the lineup. Ragnow was the highest-graded Lions player through three weeks of the season and a captain of that offensive line. Brown was signed to the Lions practice squad late last season and managed to work his way onto the 53-man roster this year.
