Tickets go on sale in a week!

We are a little more than a month away from the start of Training Camp for the Minnesota Vikings, and on Thursday the team released what the schedule of events for this year’s season prep is going to look like.

Most of the practices are going to be free of charge, with things getting underway on 28 July and running through 12 August. There will be four different practices that will cost money if you wish to attend them. Those are as follows:

  • Saturday, 31 July – Night practice at the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 17 and under.
  • Saturday, 7 August – Scrimmage at U.S. Bank Stadium. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids 17 and under.
  • Wednesday and Thursday, 11 and 12 August – Joint practices with the Denver Broncos at the TCO Performance Center. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 17 and under.

Start times have not been given for any of the practices except for the U.S. Bank Stadium scrimmage. The stadium doors will open that day at 10:30 AM with the “Vikings Village” opening half an hour before that. The scrimmage itself will get underway at noon.

Training Camp Tickets will go on sale one week from today on Thursday, 24 July. If you want to be notified when they go on sale, you can sign up on the Vikings’ website. Season ticket holders will get access two days prior to that on Tuesday, 22 July.

According to the FAQ on the team’s website, the team will not require proof of vaccination in order for fans to attend Training Camp, nor will they be mandating the wear of masks. However, due to COVID-19 protocols, fans will not have direct access to players at any time during camp, meaning that there will be no autograph sessions.

As we get more news on the Vikings’ Training Camp for 2021, we will bring it to you here. For now, however, you’ve got a chance to sign up for tickets to watch the team prepare for the upcoming season.
