Per a report from NOLA.com, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell is planning to announce that people will need to show proof of their COVID-19 vaccination or a recent negative coronavirus test before entering any New Orleans restaurants, bars and other venues. This will include Caesars Superdome and New Orleans Saints games. The announcement could come as early as Thursday afternoon. There is already a citywide mask mandate that was put into affect on July 30.

An additional report indicates that the NFL is still expecting to allow full capacity for New Orleans Saints games. Residents are being encouraged to use the LA Wallet app to simplify proof of vaccination with digital vaccine cards.
