Las Vegas has been connected to Rutgers cornerback
The Las Vegas Raiders have been often speculated as a potential landing spot for Rutgers cornerback Max Melton.
Let’s take a closer look at Melton:

5-11, 187 pounds.
2023 Stats:
He started 12 games. He was Honorable-Mention All-Big Ten. He had a team-high three interceptions and six pass breakups.
Career history:
He started six games in 2020 and 10 games in 2022. He was suspended for three games for shooting three students with a paint game. He faced charges and entered a pre-trial intervention program, He was Honorable-Mention All-Big Ten in 2022. He had eight career interceptions.
Traits:
He can play both inside and outside and he has good size. He has improved steadily during college and he may be a draft riser.
How he’d fit in with Raiders:
This is a player to watch. He plays a position where the Raiders have clear needs and he could fit in well in the defense.
What’s his draft range?
He can sneak into Day Two, but he could be a solid choice in the fourth round, which could be a great fit for Las Vegas.
