The team has been scouting Tulane quarterback

Yes, the Las Vegas Raiders will be in the draft market for a quarterback.

They have scouted several quarterbacks this draft process and one of them is Tulane’s Michael Pratt. The Raiders reportedly had both assistant general manager Champ Kelly and quarterbacks coach Rich Scangarello at Pratt’s pro day last month.

Let’s take a closer look at Pratt:

Size:

6-3, 220 pounds.

2023 Stats:
He completed 65.4 percent of his pass attempts with 22 touchdowns and five interceptions. He was AAC Offensive Player of the Year.

Career highlights:

Pratt became Tulane’s starting quarterback three games into his freshman season in 2017. He had 44 career starts and went a combined 21-3 in his final two seasons. He threw 90 career touchdowns and with 26 interception.

How he’d fit in with Raiders:

Pratt would be a developmental player who could compete for playing time, likely in his second season in the best-case scenario. Many scouts think he is most likely tabbed to a backup in the NFL.

What’s his draft range?

He’s probably a Day Three prospect that team will consider in the fourth or fifth round
