One potential option for the Tennessee Titans at the wide receiver position in the 2024 NFL draft is Michigan’s Roman Wilson, who projects to be a second-round pick, of which the Titans have one (No. 38 overall).

Wilson, who has had a 30 visit with the Titans during the pre-draft process, was a guest on “Up & Adams” with Kay Adams and had a positive review of the visit while also explaining how Tennessee reminds him of Michigan.

“They definitely stood out for me,” Wilson said of the Titans. “They’re a team that kind of reminds me of Michigan. They’re trying to rebuild their team and start with the foundation, start with the culture. I really felt that. I feel like they really believe in the guys that they have and I feel like they can see a role for me in that offense.”

Here’s more on the 5-foot-11, 185-pound wide receiver, per the scouting report of Lance Zierlein of NFL.com:

Smooth strider with alarming speed once he touches top gear. Wilson primarily focused on attacking the intermediate and deep portions of the field, adding an explosive element to the Wolverines’ ground-and-pound approach. Wilson is an electrifying athlete, which should push his stock up, but he’ll need to learn to level up his skill getting from Point A to Point B as a route-runner to reach his potential. Wilson has good hands and can run after the catch down the field, but he’s not really a catch-and-go option underneath. He has the separation potential to make a quarterback’s life easier and figures to continue his ascension as a starting slot talent.

Head coach Brian Callahan recently stated that he’s looking for someone to emerge out of the slot, so it stands to reason the Titans could target a slot receiver in this draft with not-so-reliable in-house options.

Not only does Wilson offer that, he has the kind of speed to take the top off a defense, which is another element the Titans should be looking to add ahead of next season.
