Kevin, Tim and Ken cover DC’s home team on the gridiron after a Week4 win on the road against the Falcons.

The Washington Football Team staked itself to a .500 record in a week where a loss would have felt like…curtains. On defense, it’s hard to stand up and say we looked better, but…someone help me finish that sentence.

The identity of this team after four weeks seems to be…Taylor Heinicke??? The Old Dominion product put his cape on and guided our team to a game-winning touchdown, sparing all of us the inevitable cardiac arrest that would have accompanied watching Dustin Hopkins walk out onto the field to try and get us a win (which would have left the door open for Matt Ryan to march the Falcons into winning position).

On Sunday, we filmed the third installment of “A Quiet Place,” sans Emily Blount (not for lack of reaching out to her agent). With Mark Sanchez on the mic, my volume was at ZERO for the entirety of the game. It really made difference I think.

The Falcons are in the rearview, and the Saints are marching into our lives on Sunday.

It’s Victory Tuesday, and we’re in a celebratory mood.
