The Tennessee Titans have reportedly agreed to terms with a second offensive lineman in free agency.

According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the Titans are expected to sign former Washington Commanders offensive lineman Saahdiq Charles to a one-year deal worth a max of $2.5 million.

Saahdiq now joins center Lloyd Cushenberry as the Titans’ newest offensive linemen. Both players were also teammates at LSU.

Charles has spent the majority of his career as a backup since being drafted in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL draft by the Commanders. However, he did start a career-high 10 games in 2023.

Over 11 games and 643 snaps at left guard last season, Charles allowed four sacks and 37 pressures. He has some experience playing at every position except center, but the vast majority of his snaps have come at both guard spots.

This amounts to a depth signing for Tennessee, not the needle-moving one the team could use at either tackle spot.
