Despite the Tennessee Titans making a plethora of significant moves so far this offseason, sportsbooks still believe they are destined for a rough season.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the over/under win total for the Titans for the 2024 campaign is currently sitting at 5.5 (+115/-140), which is tied for the third-lowest total in the NFL with the Denver Broncos.

Only the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers have a lower figure at 4.5.

The Titans had a lot of work to do entering the offseason, and especially on the offensive side of the ball, where they need to figure out if 2023 second-round pick Will Levis will be “the guy” moving forward.

Tennessee has added wide receiver Calvin Ridley, running back Tony Pollard and center Lloyd Cushenberry to beef up that side of the ball.

The additions of Cushenberry and Ridley are the most significant, though, considering offensive line and wide receiver were the team’s biggest needs.

On defense, the Titans are set to sport one of the better cornerback rooms in the NFL after signing Chidobe Awuzie and trading for L’Jarius Sneed, both of whom will join slot cornerback Roger McCreary.

While all those moves are impressive, the Titans still have more work to do, as the team has yet to add a tackle, and more specifically a left tackle, the team’s biggest need.

However, the Titans are expected to add one in next month’s draft, and the hope is that will come in the form of Notre Dame left tackle Joe Alt at No. 7 overall.

Nobody is expecting the Titans to compete for a Super Bowl, but there’s no question general manager Ran Carthon and Co. have greatly sped up the process of turning this roster into a winner.

As a result, that 5.5 line is very generous.
