Vikings Report 2024 NFL Draft Preview: Safeties

The last show before the big day!

It’s Draft Week, everybody! And we’ve finally finished our positional previews for every position in the 2024 NFL Draft on Vikings Report with Drew and Ted, with this week’s episode focusing on the safety position.

Again, for the uninitiated, here’s how our shows usually go.

We start off with our weekly movie reference, this week. . .appropriately enough. . .going with Draft Day starring Jennifer Garner (and also Kevin Costner). It’s mostly hilarious while not likely meaning to be but, honestly, it’s the only movie out there that really tries to take a look at the Draft.

We then have our one and only mock draft, in which we take turns going down the draft board all the way to #23 because. . .well, that’s where the second pick for our Minnesota Vikings is and nobody cares about anything after that anyway.

Next, we take a look at who the Vikings currently have on the roster at safety before going into Drew’s breakdown of some of the top 15 prospects at the safety position in this year’s NFL Draft.

We’ll get more into what we’ve got planned for this year’s NFL Draft tomorrow, but we will be going live for the first round and possibly more if the Vikings manage to find their way into a second or third-round pick.
