Trevor Lawrence and Calvin Ridley got into the end zone two times each during the Jacksonville Jaguars’ 34-14 destruction of the Tennessee Titans in Week 11.

In a road game against the Houston Texans with massive implications in the AFC South, the Jaguars will need to do much better offensively than they did in a 37-17 loss to the Texans in Week 3.

In that game, Tank Bigsby and Christian Kirk were the only two to score against Houston.

One of the most popular ways to bet on an NFL game is the anytime touchdown scorer prop. You bet on one player to score a touchdown, and if they do, you make money.

Sounds simple, right?

It’s not as easy as it seems, but it is rewarding when the player you bet does find the end zone – especially if he plays for your team

With the Jaguars facing the Texans on Sunday, we’ve highlighted one player you should bet to score a touchdown this week. Odds are courtesy of BetMGM.

Zay Jones anytime TD scorer: +300

Despite missing six of the Jaguars’ 10 games so far this season, Jones is still one of the most targeted red zone receivers for the team. He’s caught two of Trevor Lawrence’s six red zone touchdown passes and helped open up room for Calvin Ridley to catch two in Week 11.

While the Texans are third in the NFL in touchdown passes allowed with only 10, they’re 25th in passing yards allowed and only five teams have allowed more rushing touchdowns. Opponents haven’t had the easiest time scoring against Houston, but most that do are moving the ball down the field with the pass and then punching it in with the run.

That could make Travis Etienne Jr. an appealing bet, but there’s not much value at -275. Getting Lawrence’s favorite red zone receiver at close to 3-to-1 is a steal.
