Panthers great Greg Olsen talks Cam Newton with Kevin Hart in a cold tub

Who would’ve thought that Greg Olsen’s football career could eventually have him chilling topless inside a matching cold tub beside Kevin Hart onstage in front a group of people?

The former tight end and award-winning broadcaster jumped in as Hart’s guest on the latest episode of “Cold as Balls” from LOL Network, which airs this week. When Hart dove into Olsen’s career with the Carolina Panthers, the franchise great couldn’t help but give Cam Newton his flowers.

“I’ve been on record—my nine years with Cam was the best nine years of my career, and it was not by accident,” Olsen said. “Just bein’ able to be along as I grew as a player, as he grew as a quarterback. He’s dabbin’ and he’s givin’ away [footballs] and he’s wearin’ big ass with feathers. He was the story of the NFL. And for him to be able to accomplish everything he did on the field, and also kinda transcend it off the field, in a relatively smaller market, is a testament to how good he was.”

Newton and Olsen led the Panthers to three division titles and the organization’s second-ever Super Bowl appearance over their time together. The two also helped one another achieve personal peaks, with Newton capturing Most Valuable Player honors in 2015 and Olsen becoming the first tight end in NFL history to amass three consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons in 2016.
