Player prop bets for Panthers vs Bucs in Week 18

Interesting player specific bets for the last game of the season

Welcome back to the final week of our new weekly series that we are bringing to you courtesy of our friends over at DraftKings Sportsbook. Here we’ll take a look at the most interesting—or riskiest—player prop bets each week for the Carolina Panthers.

Every week we try to steer you towards some of the safer, or wilder, bets that you can make on this team. With the Panthers having embarked on their third losing streak of the 2023 season, and nobody on the team having a statistically significant season, there are slim pickings when looking for prop bets around Panthers players.

Honestly, at this point there is only one guaranteed producer on the Panthers: Bryce Young. The ball is going to go through him to get to, or towards, other players. Unfortunately, Draftkings isn’t offering odds on Young as a passer this week. The only passer they are offering odds on is Baker Mayfield, who is playing through an injury with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers playoff fate on the line.

In fact, Draftkings, in what must surely be an error, is not offering any prop bets for Carolina Panthers players outside of TD Scorer bets, so let’s talk about those.

Miles Sanders and Tommy Tremble also warranted odds this week, but let’s stick with the Panthers top rusher and top two receivers. Asking for any touchdowns out of this team is greedy, but asking for obscure player (by usage) touchdowns is just downright burning your money.

Basically, no individual Panther is favored to score at all, let alone first. Last week’s shutout on top of an entire season of calamitous bumbling by the offense has left little confidence in any player on the team. Good luck with that.
