The Baltimore Ravens drafted quarterback Lamar Jackson with the No. 32 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft. He has left many in awe with his ability on the football field, but off of it, he has made just as much of an impact.
Jackson got a shoutout from NBC Sports writer Peter King in his final edition of “Football Morning In America” in the “Mr. Nice Guys” section. King said that Jackson is a “polite southern guy” who ended every interview with a “Thank you, Mr. King.”

Jackson has been known for his kindness to the media during his time in Baltimore and his willingness to answer questions left and right respectfully. It’s no surprise that King made sure to mention Jackson in his piece and give him credit for an aspect of his personality that many think shows the incredible person that he is.
