Happy Friday, Flock Nation! The offseason may have just begun, but it’s already been plenty busy with the departure of Wink Martindale. Now, it looks like a few other coaches will be leaving with Martindale, including linebackers coaches Rob Ryan (ILBs) and Drew Wilkins (OLBs).
In addition to ILB coach Rob Ryan, OLB coach Drew Wilkins is also not returning to the Ravens defensive staff. Wilkins has been with Ravens since 2010, starting as a video operations intern and working his way up. Respected young coach.

That could lead to a familiar face in Baltimore, one that Ravens fans originally knew as an All-Pro linebacker.
With Wilkins’ departure, there are three known openings on John Harbaugh’s coaching staff: TE, ILB and OLB. Zachary Orr expected to interview for LB coach position Monday. There’s familiarity and comfort on both sides, so his return would make plenty of sense.

That’s right, Zach Orr could be coming back to Baltimore after spending the 2021 season as the Jacksonville Jaguars’ inside linebackers coach. He’s interviewing for the same position with the Ravens on Monday.
Elsewhere around the NFL, the Ravens are well-represented at the Pro Bowl in Las Vegas this week, with Justin Tucker, Devin Duvernay, Patrick Ricard and Mark Andrews all among the participants.
For those Ravens fans who can’t stand the sight of Ricard lined up out wide, you may not want to click on this next clip.

After all, no other team uses a fullback as much as the Ravens, so Ricard might have to be used as a wide receiver in the Pro Bowl. Maybe he’ll pick up some skills he can bring back to Baltimore!
WR James Proche seems intent on developing his skills this offseason, as evidenced by this intense workout he posted on February 3.
never missing the playoffs again, I promise!

With the Ravens unlikely to make any significant additions at wideout this offseason, Proche could get more snaps and targets in his third NFL season, especially if he trains that hard for the entire offseason.
Additions are expected, however, in the trenches, especially through the draft. Speaking this morning, Eric DeCosta confirmed as much.
DeCosta said that the offensive line will definitely be a point of emphasis this offseason.
“For us to be the very best offense we can be, we’ve got to have a strong, commanding offensive line.” https://t.co/6mOahbC8sx— Jeff Zrebiec (@jeffzrebiec) February 4, 2022
With the Senior Bowl taking place in Mobile, Alabama this week, fans, experts and the Ravens’ front office got a glimpse of some of the players they could go after with their 10 2022 draft picks.
One option is OT Trevor Penning, who brings a physicality and nastiness to every single play that would certainly be welcome blocking for Lamar Jackson.

On the other side of the ball, UConn’s Travis Jones is shooting up draft boards with strong performances in Senior Bowl practices and drills. While earlier projections had him going in the third round, he might be a player to watch with the Ravens’ second-round pick.
