Broncos add some depth to their backfield.

According to reports and from the team, the Denver Broncos have signed former Philadelphia Eagles running back/receiver Adrian Killins to their roster.

He’s a 5-8, 177lb running back/receiver who has electrifying speed and will add some depth to the team’s backfield.

KIllins spent his college career at UCF and had a successful career while there. During his four-year career, Killins totaled 407 attempts for 2,459 yards and 25 rushing touchdowns. He also had 70 career receptions for 864 yards and 8 receiving touchdowns. Killins also contributed on special teams where he had 47 career kick returns for 1,025 yards and 1 touchdown return.

He went undrafted in 2020 and signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. He jumped off and on the Eagles practice squad that year before signing a two-year deal with the team in the offseason. He was waived by the Eagles on the 14th and now will look to make the Broncos roster.

The Broncos had to trim their roster down to 85 players, so they waived cornerback Rojesterman Farris, linebacker Peter Kalambayi, and defensive tackle Lorenzo Neal Jr and waived/injured wide receiver DeVontres Dukes, running back LeVante Bellamy, and defensive tackle Deyon Sizer. Killins was signed to replace Bellamy’s spot on the roster.

He’s a bit undersized and is more of a scatback/gadget player for the Broncos, but he provides excellent speed which makes him dangerous whenever he’s on the field.
