The Colts could have their eyes on a sleeper professional cornerback prospect from up North.

According to KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson, the Indianapolis Colts will meet with Toronto Argonauts cornerback Qwan’Tez Stiggers on Monday ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft:

The CFL’s ‘most outstanding rookie’ of last season is trying to make history by being only one of four players in the common era to be drafted in the NFL without collegiate football experience.

At a listed 6’0,” 197 pounds, Stiggers is coming off a debut CFL season for the Argonauts in which he recorded 53 tackles, 3 special teams tackles, and 5 interceptions during 16 games in 2023—earning CFL East All-Star honors, in addition to his most outstanding rookie accolade.

He drew impressive reviews at February’s East-West Shrine Bowl game.

While he was not invited to the this year’s NFL Combine, Stiggers recorded impressive measurables at his mid-March Pro Day and has an unofficial RAS of 9.31 out of a maximum 10.0:

Make no mistake about it though, Stiggers isn’t just a ‘feel good story’ coming from our neighbors of the North, but a legitimate NFL cornerback prospect entering this year’s draft:

The Colts could be in the market for cornerback help, as the team is seeking a long-term answer on the outside opposite JuJu Brents. Stiggers is an intriguing developmental cornerback, who could eventually develop into an impact starter at the NFL level.
