Report: Jets Could Be Close To Signing Morgan Moses

Morgan Moses has been a reliable right tackle for Washington since 2014. Adding Moses to the Jets’ offensive line would set off a domino effect that could have implications for a few players. The biggest impact would be on the guy who is slated to be our right tackle as of right now, George Fant.</p> <p id="w34Zl8">The signing of Moses would birth a good amount of questions. What position would he be playing? Will he be taking over right tackle? Will he be playing a new position to him at right guard? If he does slide into our starting right tackle spot, what does that mean for Fant? Will Fant compete at right guard? Will Fant essentially become a high priced swing tackle/insurance for Becton? Will this move mean the days are numbered for GVR or Alex Lewis? Is the primary motive of this signing to improve right tackle or offer protection for Becton? Is Moses athletic enough to be effective in a wide-zone scheme?
