The Jacksonville Jaguars got relatively good news regarding the knee injury suffered by wide receiver Zay Jones, who is now “day-to-day,” according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Jones, 28, sat out two games with a knee injury suffered in Week 2. He made his return to the lineup Sunday and caught a 6-yard touchdown early in the Jaguars’ 25-20 win against the Buffalo Bills. But Jones exited in the third quarter after limping off the field with another injury to the same knee.

On Monday, Jones had an MRI done on his knee and Pelissero’s report indicates that it revealed no significant damage that would end the receiver’s season or require a stint on the injured reserve.

Jones began the season with five receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1. Since then, he’s appeared in only two games and was forced to exit both. Last season, Jones put up career best numbers in his first year with the Jaguars, catching 82 passes for 823 yards and five touchdowns.

Jacksonville also had an MRI done on the injured knee of offensive lineman Walker Little who was injured in Week 5, as well. Results of that imaging haven’t yet been revealed.
