Best part of a Monday.

Seattle is at 2-4, without Russell Wilson, but at home in the loudest stadium in the league. Notice I said stadium, not fans. One guy in the cheapest seat, sneezing, could mess up a snap count the way that place is constructed. It’s actually a great stadium within walking distance of most of what downtown Seattle has to offer.

The Saints at 3-2 have a chance to grab second place between the 5-1 (6-1) Buccaneers and the 3-3 (4-3) Panthers with a win. The Buccaneers play the Bears, and the Panthers get the Giants, so I’m adding a win each. I haven’t had a chance to watch the Saints yet this season, but it seems that their offense goes as Jameis Winston goes.

The offenses are not that good, Seahawks 31st, Saints at 20th, Seahawks and that’s mostly with Wilson. The Saints boast the No. 4 defense and are +5 in turnover differential. Seattle’s defense ranks dead last, and are allowing 430+ yards a game. They do have a +2 in TO’s though. Both teams give up more yards than they get.

What does all that add up to? Hopefully an entertaining game at the end of a stress free bye weekend of football, where you can join your fellow Steelers fans to talk football.
