The Baltimore Ravens kicked off their joint practices with the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday. Both teams got good work in going up against each other, but there was a mini-scuffle that broke out after Ravens’ wide receiver Binjimen Victor got upended by Panthers defensive back Keith Taylor.

Multiple Baltimore players took exception to Taylor’s actions, and a mini-scrum ensued. While everything was going on, Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters and safety Anthony Levine Sr. joined the fray from the field where the Baltimore defense was working, which resulted in Peters and Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn exchanging words.

For the most part, fighting during joint practices isn’t a surprising development. Going up against another team always raises the intensity levels, so sometimes something can spark a dust-up. The Ravens have one more day of joint work with the Panthers before facing them on Saturday in their second preseason game of 2021.
