Keilan Robinson projects as a backup running back who mainly fits as a 3rd down option at the next level. Robinson has blazing straight-line speed, so he’s able to win the edge and run away from defenders with regularity. He lacks some vision, mainly due to a lack of reps in college, and goes down a bit too easily on initial contact, but he gets vertical in a hurry. In the pass game, he needs some work in pass pro, and given his size, he won’t ascend to an elite pass protector. He has sufficient hands and route running ability to help as a receiver out of the backfield. Getting him the ball quickly in the open field is where he’ll succeed early on. Robinson will also contribute on special teams. He’s an elite kick returner, and has the experience and ability to play on the core four units.
