In a video released by the Tennessee Titans, left guard Rodger Saffold gave us an inside look into his gym workouts and how he prepared for the upcoming season.

Saffold joined the Titans on a four-year, $44 million deal in 2019, and after struggling during his first season in Nashville, the veteran has rounded into form and helped solidify Tennessee’s group upfront.

Despite battling injury in 2020, Saffold still managed to play well, and for his efforts he received one First-Team All-Pro vote, one of three Titans linemen to get at least one (center Ben Jones, right guard Nate Davis were the others).

Saffold is working as hard as ever to get ready for his 12th season and, of course, he says his ultimate goal is to secure a Super Bowl victory, something neither he nor the franchise has ever accomplished.

Saffold recently received quite a bit of praise from “Good Morning Football” host Peter Schrager, who believes the 33-year-old “might be the most underrated offensive lineman of his generation.”

That’s a spot-on assessment in our eyes.

After all, Saffold, who successfully transitioned from tackle to guard earlier in his career with the Rams, has been about as consistent as they come yet has never made a Pro Bowl or been given a First-Team All-Pro nod.
