Which position is betting favorite to be first pick by Rams?

When Aaron Donald retired from the NFL, it completely changed the outlook of the draft and the next season of the L.A. Rams. As expected, the new most-expected position to be taken with the first pick is defensive line/edge, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Rams picking a defensive lineman with their first pick has odds of -200, a good lead over second place Cornerback at +450 and Offensive Lineman at +500.

The next-highest odds are Safety, Quarterback, Linebacker, Wide Receiver, Tight End, and finally Running Back (because nobody is betting on it being a special teamer) at +15000. Those are interesting odds given how unexpected it was that Jahmyr Gibbs went 12th overall last year when many people thought that Bijan Robinson would be the only first rounder. However, there isn’t a Bijan or Jahmyr expected in this class.

I do think the Rams could pick a running back on day two.
