The legal tampering window of NFL free agency begins on Monday at noon, and it looks like the Atlanta Falcons may soon have a new quarterback. The Minnesota Vikings have yet to strike a deal with Kirk Cousins, meaning the veteran QB can start talking with other teams in about an hour.
The Falcons have a little over $37 million in salary cap space, but since any deal with Cousins wouldn’t become official until Wednesday afternoon, the team has more time to free up cash for a potential contract. According to The Athletic’s Dianna Rusini, Cousins will begin contract talks with the Falcons starting Monday at noon.
