Adam Schein at NFL.com posted his ranking of the top nine offenses in the league. According the list, the Los Angeles Rams have the seventh best offense going into the 2021 season.

Schein seems to be on the high end of the spectrum when it comes to his view on the quarterback change to Matthew Stafford as he describes a “massive upgrade” and says “it’s everything!”. He shows rightful respect to the heart of this offense which has been the dynamic duo of Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods. The ranking seems to reflect an optimistic view on the running back group filling in for injured Cam Akers and the shuffle with the interior offensive line.

The teams ranked above the Rams are the Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, Dallas Cowboys, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Below the Rams are the Atlanta Falcons and the Los Angeles Chargers.

When broken down into conference, the Rams offense ranks fourth in the NFC. By division, the Sean McVay attack is the only NFC West unit to gain this top nine recognition.

The Rams offense produced an average of 377 yards per game in 2020 which ranked 11th and scored an average 23.3 points per game which ranked 23rd. On turnovers, the Rams unit gave the ball away 25 times, which was more than 24 other teams. In order to contend for a Super Bowl, changes were needed and changes were made. Were they the right moves? Will it be enough?
