Tight end Cole Kmet has been a vital part of the Chicago Bears’ offense this season, where he’s proven to be a dependable option for quarterbacks Justin Fields and Tyson Bagent.
Kmet has 56 catches for 482 yards and five touchdowns through 12 games, and he’s approaching career bests in receptions (60), receiving yards (612) and touchdowns (7).
While Kmet has been an important part of Chicago’s offensive production, he’s also been one of the NFL’s most reliable targets this season.
According to Pro Football Focus, Kmet is the only offensive player to receiver 60-plus targets and not drop a pass this season.

Kmet ranks 12th among all tight ends with a PFF grade of 72.8, which includes a drop mark of 90.6 (1st) and receiving mark of 75.8 (8th).
The Bears signed Kmet to a four-year contract extension worth $50 million ahead of the 2023 season, which put him among the top-11 paid tight ends in the league. Kmet is certainly proving general manager Ryan Poles right with his performance through the first 12 games.
